Suggested activities/sights: Great restaurants along the River Walk - Trail drive of Missions - Alamo – Step on/off tour of city – Price of Freedom at IMax Tower of America’s – Botanical Garden – Breckenridge Park - Safari Wildlife Park – La Villita Arts, etc – Natural Bridge Wildlife Ranch ($17 w/web coupon – between New Braunfels / San Antonio) – River Walk Market Place - Witt Museum – Japanese Garden, Sea World, day trip to Gruene/New Braunfels.
Travel route: San Antonio to Kerrville via Hwy 10 = 65 miles or choose your own personal route.

Fredricksburg: Oktoberfest (October 6-8) - Enchanted Rock – National Museum of the Pacific War – Vereins Kirche Museum – Herb Farm – LBJ State Park in Stonewall - Fredricksburg Brewing Co – MAYBE ck out the Old Tunnel Wildlife and see 3 million Mexican free-tail bats abandon the tunnel – 7 different wineries in area.
Luckenbach: Population is 5-20 authentic little hole in the wall – with dirt floor stage, rustic general store, and authentic Texas character. Often live music on stage in evening.
Kerrville: Fun small town to wander the square. Louis Hays City Park, Kerrs Art & Cultural Center, Riverside Nature Center, Birding (if that’s your thing) Lost Maples State Area (southwest of Kerrville). Nearby Ingram: Stonehenge in the Hills
