New Orleans Getaway - Join Me Trip

Departing from the Breaux Bridge Crawfish Festival Join Me Trip we will continue on to enjoy camping on the North Shore of Lake Pontchartrain in Mandeville, LA for four nights.  We’ve made reservations at Fountainebleu State Park. 

New Orleans is accessible on the 24 mile bridge that crosses Lake Pontchartrain.  It’s a great time of the year to visit as it is the week after the infamous “Jazz Fest” and locals are recovering from the influx of people.  Lots and lots to do in New Orleans!  I’d recommend the World War II Museum and with the two recent expansions it takes several hours to tour.  The Audubon Zoo is one of top in the US along with the Aquarium.
